The Collection: Buddha Sculptures & Figurines | Only Love, Only Concern
Design Concept:
Buddha embodies compassion and wisdom, and the Buddha sculpture is a reminder for all of us to love and to care. The plumpness of this Buddha is modeled after Tang Dynasty(618-907 A.D.) figurines, an golden age in ancient Chinese history, as a symbol of pursuit love and care to its fullest. The rough surface on the Buddha’s rope represents our common struggles in life, however, one may observe the calmness on Buddha’s facial expression and the strong determination and steadiness in Buddha’s body language. In the age of uncertainty, only when we search inward, could we find genuine peace and strength.
概念設計說明:
現代佛像系列，不只是一尊尊佛像的創作，而是一種辯證的思考，推己及人的慈悲與安定人心的力量。向心而行，由心學習。唐時期圓滿的佛像造型呈現，展現藝術家對愛的圓滿追求；袍子的皺摺如同生命中的不安與掙扎，但從佛像的面部神情，可以感受到一種寧靜，卻又堅定的信念，看似簡單的筆觸，是藝術家對於生命的感悟。琉璃工房希望通過佛像創作，將慈悲傳達給更多的人，感受一種當下的力量。面對變動的時代，萬物變動，唯有向內探索，向心學習，才能找到真正的安定。
