Design Concept:
The inspiration for this artwork’s originating collection is the persevering and courageous nature of goldfish. In “An Exquisite Dance,” liuli light and shadow manifest those nuances of this chance encounter between two goldfish. Together, they merge into one entity, swirling ripples of undulating tails forming a dynamic courtship. The exquisite layers of both color and crystal texture is also something which only this specific medium can achieve. Symbols of good fortune and prosperity, the jingyu (“goldfish”) in this piece will bring a balance and visual treat for any interior in any light natural or artificial.
