肩背上的鮮花，是作品特別的創意之處。在十二生肖裡，排位第二的牛，在中國的傳統文化裡，又有“坤牛”的說法“坤”象徵著承受一切，無私奉獻，孕育生命的大地，身具巨大力量，卻性格溫和勤勞的牛，也有著與大地同樣偉大的品質。作為天地開啟後開闢土地的吉獸，助力大地及萬物，生存繁衍，生生不息。花開在身軀上，讚美的是無私的德行，帶來的，更是春回大地的喜悅和美好。作品的大塊肌肉的光滑面和細膩花朵，帶來了不同的光影效果，光或一片通透，或點點流動，讓作品仿佛處於真實的明媚陽光之下。
