Design Concept:
Iris, traditionally viewed as a bridge to the otherworldly and ethereal, possesses a dynamic quality about it—almost dancing on its own. Echoing the romantic depictions of the Iris flower in mythologies across the Old World, this vase-and-flower piece is redolent with passion and movement. Seeming to be almost the personification of love itself, the Iris blazes with a ravishing and vivacious energy. View the self through flowers, view the world through a vase. Through the passionate iris, we are shown eternal love.
概念設計說明:
水晶琉璃鳶尾花，脫蠟鑄造技法手工製成。造型上，花瓣向上飛舞搖曳，向下延展紮根至瓶身，如龍如風之姿，在風雲中熱烈地絢爛，象徵生命燃燒的炙烈，是一種生命頑強向上的精神，亦是作品與技法的完整結合。鳶尾花因花瓣形如鳶鳥尾巴而稱之，其屬名iris俗稱為「愛麗絲」，是希臘語「彩虹」之意。Iris在希臘神話中是彩虹女神，她是眾神與凡間的使者，也是花語一「愛的使者」的由來。以花觀己，以瓶觀世界，從作品鳶尾的熱情，看見愛的永恆。
