Design Description:
The design highlights an all-around grain motif and four mythical creatures- dragon(strength), phoenix(splendor), tortoise(wisdom), tiger(power).
Food is a human necessity, the grain motif represents our ancestors’ reverence toward this heavenly gift. Not only is the grain motif an aesthetic symbol, it is a philosophy of a united heaven and earth. The grain motif transcends time and space.
In modern form, it is a return to the essence of existence, an object of showing gratitude to mother nature, and praying for abundance in blessings and a good life.
This collection of decorative artwork could also be used as paperweights.
「民以食為天」谷粒是先人賴以生存的維繫，穀粒撐起先人心中的那片天。穀粒紋不僅是一種美學符號，更是天人合一的倫理思考。穀粒紋跨越時間的限制，以現代的表現形式回溯質樸本源。是先人對於天地的一種敬畏感恩。
穀粒代表豐收，青龍代表權力,白虎代表威武,朱雀代表光華,玄武代表智慧。穀粒紋與四大神獸的結合，祈願天地和順，豐衣足食。
